Oversize and Dangerous Goods

Manual Handling Fees and Surcharges (MHP): MHP – manually handling fees 9.50 + GST), Oversize Dimension Fees: OS0 Oversize dimension 0, OS1 Oversize dimension 1, OS2 Oversize dimension 2. These will need to be added as additional fees GST inclusive, independent of the freight cost. They are triggered by the input for dimensions and weight:

MHP = $10.45 (Manually Handling Fees of $9.50 + GST)

MHP will be charged per item on items which are not compatible with Pickups Online sortation system and require manual handling due to size*, weight**, fragility (including glass), poor packaging (including where the parcel is unstable due to poor weight distribution) or unusual shape (including tubes, flat pack items) and dangerous goods.

Length <200mm or >1200mm and/or
Width <100mm or >600mm and/or
Height <15mm or >800mm and/or
Diagonal Length >1200mm

Weight <250g or >30kg

Note: A MHP fee will be charged for an item in addition to any other applicable surcharge for the consignment, including oversize surcharge and Dangerous Goods’ surcharge.

Oversize Freight (OS0): 1.50 to 1.99 metres
$10.00 + GST
Oversize freight where any one dimension (length, height or width) exceeds 1.49 metres.

Oversize Freight (OS1): 2.00 to 2.99 metres
$30.00+ GST
Oversize freight where any one dimension (length, height or width) exceeds 1.99 metres.

Oversize Freight (OS2): 3.00 to 3.99 metres
$40.00+ GST
Oversize freight where any one dimension (length, height or width) exceeds 2.99 metres.

Oversize Freight (OS3): 4.00 to 4.99 metres
$250.00+ GST
Oversize freight where any one dimension (length, height or width) exceeds 3.99 metres.

Oversize Freight (OS4): 5.00 to 5.99 metres
$450.00+ GST
Oversize freight where any one dimension (length, height or width) exceeds 4.99 metres.

Oversize Freight (OS5): 6.00 metres and greater
$600.00+ GST
Oversize freight where any one dimension (length, height or width) exceeds 5.99 metres.
